I sanitize everything, unlike nail salons, that may sanitize the clipper, but not everything it came into contact with. It's cross-contamination and very unsanitary!

A lot of people have problem feet. Some people need a nail care technician because they can't reach their feet. A lot of people don't want to go out or can't go out to get their feet properly cared for. That's where I come in.

I go to you. I can do pedicures for people with thick nails, and problem feet, and for people who can’t reach their feet. I can also help people who just don’t want to go to a nail salon. If I see a foot problem that’s out of my scope of practice, I can suggest and refer my clients to a podiatrist or other health care professional.

I'm here to help

Over the last few years I've spent focusing on in-home foot care for adults with health issues, it's made me realize how important proper foot care is.

Home visits like these are crucial and can even save a life. I was doing foot care for a 90-year-old person and noticed a sore between their toes. It turned out to be MRSA, an infection that needed wound care for more than 6 months. I told them they needed to throw away the electric foot bath too, because it was jetted and you can’t get the infection out.

And THAT’s what’s wrong with nail salons (ie fungal salons) – they’re unsanitary.
